As the Task Force for Quality Inclusive Schooling increases its membership and its activities, representatives from the seven regions in New York State now serve as liaisons between these regions and the New York Higher Education Support Center for SystemsChange. These regionally selected personnel help to shape and to deliver the professional development opportunities needed by teacher educators at colleges and universities. They bring heightened awareness of the purposes and efforts of the Task Force and the Higher Education Support Center. Among various tasks, they coordinate activities, recruit new institutions, support the work of regional institutions in partnerships with high needs schools, and support the work of teacher educators in ongoing professional development.
