- Parent Centers
- Parent Centers provide support for parents and families of children with disabilities.
- Regional School Support Centers (RSSC)
- Support the educational achievement of all students in New York State by assisting teachers and administrators in high needs schools with professional development. The professional development opportunities that the Regional School Support Centers provide allow schools to train staff members to effectively practice inclusive education.
- Special Education Training & Resource Centers (SETRC)
- Provide training and technical assistance to school districts based on the district's needs. There are 56 SETRCs across the State located at each of the BOCES and in the Big 5 cities.
- State Improvement Grant Districts (SIG)
- Charged to reduce the performance gap in educational achievement between general education and special education students in high-need and low-need districts, and reduce or eliminate the disproportionality of language and ethnic minority students in classification placement practices.
- Teacher Centers
- Provide systematic, ongoing professional education services to New York State's teachers.
